Longtime viewers of The Colbert Report know that in addition to being a superior Catholic, Stephen has made great media strides in covering the “War on Easter.” You weren’t aware that there was one? Easter outrage first premieres on TCR in a brilliant series called “Easter Under Attack,” made even brilliant-er by this unforgettable graphic:

In subsequent years, Stephen’s outrage against municipalities banning the word “Easter” from egg hunts, etc., continues to manifest itself.
