Orlando Bloom (Actor: “Romeo and Juliet”)
Orlando Bloom is an English actor. He is most well-known for his roles as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and Will Turner in The Pirates of the Caribbean. He has since appeared in several ensemble films including Troy, Elizabethtown, and Kingdom of Heaven. His debut stage role was in the West End’s In Celebration, which ended its run in 2007. He is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Bloom will appear in the Broadway revival of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as Romeo.

Billy Collins (Poet: “Aimless Love: New and Selected Poems”)
Billy Collins is an American poet. He was the Poet Laureate of the United States from 2001-2003. He is a professor at Lehman College of the City University of New York and is the Senior Distinguished Fellow of the Winter Park Institute, Florida. The New York Public Library made Collins a Literary Lion in 1992, and he was selected as the New York State Poet for 2004 through 2006. Collins currently teaches in the MFA program at Stony Brook Southampton.

Jack Andraka (Winner: Intel Science Project)
Jack Andraka is an American inventor, scientist and cancer researcher. He received the 2012 Gordon E. Moore Award, the grand prize of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. The award, named in honor of the co-founder of Intel Corporation, for his work in developing a new, rapid, and inexpensive method to detect the increase of a protein that indicates the presence of pancreatic, ovarian, and lung cancer during their early stages. Andraka also won other prizes in smaller individual categories for a total of $100,500 in prize money. Andraka won a fourth-place award in Chemistry at the 2013 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a project focusing on a novel Raman spectrometer with real world applications.

Bill Bryson is an American author. His humorous writing focuses on his travels, the English language, and science. Bryson was born in America, but has lived most of his adult life in Britain. He briefly returned to the States from 1995-2003. He is currently the chancellor of Durham University in England. His newest book One Summer: America 1927 is — as the name suggests – a history of the summer of 1927 in America, especially the flight of Charles Lindbergh.
