Adding the ‘Colbert News Hub – Calendar’ to Your Personal ‘Google Calendar’ Page.
To add Google Calendar to your personal calendar page:
- Click on the Google Calendars button located at the bottom of the Calendar.
- It should look like this: +Google Calendar
- A pop-up should appear that says:
- “Do you want to add this calendar?” (Select: Yes)
- “Would you like to add calendar: Colbert News Hub Calendar?” (Select: Yes, add this calendar)
Customising Your Reminders.
Google Calendar offers users a variety of different options for receiving event reminders.
Reminders can be received via:
- SMS
- Email
- Google Calendar (internal pop-up)
- Android Desktop Calendar
*Note: The ‘Android Desktop Calendar’ option may not be compatible with all mobile phones.
Consult your mobile phone user guide or local mobile phone specialist for assistance in determining Google Calendar compatibility.
Customising Your Reminder Settings.
- Click “Manage Calendar” at the bottom of the calendar list.
- Alternately, click the drop-down arrow next to the ‘Colbert News Hub Calendar’ in the calendar list.
- Once the appropriate dialogue box is opened, click the “Notifications” link.
- The “Event Reminders” section allows you to select the default method and reminder time(s) for scheduled events.
- This page also allows you to set the appropriate reminder(s) in the “Choose how you would like to be notified” section.
- Click “Save”, when finished customising your calendar.
