Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 marked the end of an era, as David Letterman signed off from the ‘Late Show’ for the final time. Dave ended his career in late night, just as he had started it – with the same brand of sarcasm, mischief, self-mockery and irreverence that has made him a comedy legend and icon over the past 33 years.
In an episode featuring celebrity friends and classic moments from the past 30 years, Dave took a brief moment to acknowledge his successor Stephen Colbert, and wish he and his staff good luck and success for the future.
From all of us here at the Hub, thank you Dave, and good luck Stephen!! We will be watching.
