Howard Kurtz Takes on Stephen Colbert

Fox News anchor Howard Kurtz, host of the weekly media criticism show ‘Media Buzz’, is angry at Stephen Colbert for making fun of his report on whether Hillary Clinton is too old to run for President of the United States, on the February 26th edition of ‘The Colbert Report’. Kurtz claims that his report was taken out of context, and is angered at ‘The Colbert Reports’ for its use of “selective editing” in which it
broadcast an edited version of his report, and not the whole segment. Thus by gaining some “cheap laughs” at Kurtz expense.

Unlike his Fox News colleagues who take pride at Colbert’s ribbing, Kurtz has written to Fox News Insider, claiming that he is going to “take on” Stephen Colbert by criticising him on ‘Media Buzz’ on Sunday, March 2nd at 11am and 5pm ET.

Oh, and I accuse Stephen Colbert of not living up to the standards of a fake anchor! (with tongue firmly in cheek) http://t.co/kYzjsqLRq3
