Jerry Holland to Appear on “The Colbert Report”

It’s very interesting that shortly after Colbert’s “not announcing” a Presidential run, an article hit the internets about The Colbert Report crew and a producer going to visit Jerry Holland.  Who just happens to be the Supervisor of Elections in Florida.  Which just happens to be the next stop on “the road to Super Tuesday”.  The article states that the interview will be Super PAC related.  First Coast News divulged that the interview was set up two months ago.

Political comedian Stephen Colbert has apparently found a new target for his humor in Duval County Elections Supervisor Jerry Holland.

Holland said a producer and crew from The Colbert Report on Comedy Central will be at his home Monday to interview him. Colbert won’t be there, but could be edited into the final package sometime later.

Holland isn’t sure when the show will be aired, but said he’s expecting it sometime after next week’s South Carolina presidential primary and before Florida’s primary Jan. 31.

“I’ll do my best to try to make Florida proud of its elections,” Holland said, “but I’m sure he’ll do his best to try to make some silliness out of it.”
