Jon Stewart, the host of “The Daily Show” will be honored at the Seventh Annual Heroes Gala in November. IAVA will present Stewart with the 2013 IAVA Civilian Service Award on Tuesday, November 12th, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Additionally, IAVA will honor former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and Medal of Honor recipient Salvatore Giunta with the 2013 IAVA Veterans Leadership Award. Brian Williams, host of NBC Nightly News, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the fifth year in a row.
