Oregon’s Rob Cornilles tries his hand at humor in the final hours before his special election.

“I humbly request the Colbert bump,” he says, leveraging his looks to play Stephen Colbert’s brother.

“Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun and showing a sense of humor during the seriousness of knock-down, drag out campaign when the DCCC and its allies are spending $2 million to make you look like evil incarnate,” writes Cornilles deputy campaign manager Mike Carew.
