  • Following a stint teaching students at the Kennedy School of Government how satire can disrupt the social and political order, Bassem Youssef has undertaken a new project, “Tube Star Network.” Recognising the lack of original content in the Middle East, the Dubai-based helps aspiring Arab talent to develop their own Internet programs, with the hope that some will make the leap to broadcast television.
  • John Oliver is bringing his stand up show Down Under this August. Tickets are now on sale via Ticketmaster for shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
  • Neil deGrasse Tyson talks to Mens Journal about his new late night show Star Talk’, which aims to break new ground in television by presenting science in a talk show format.
