The Comedy Central App will feature a robust lineup of content free to all users, including the most recent season of “South Park” and next-day availability of Comedy Central’s late-night lineup of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” “The Colbert Report” and its new late-night hit “@midnight.” In addition, all app users will be able to preview two yet-to-premiere new series, the animated “Trip Tank” and uncensored stand-up series “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell.” Users will also have access to original short-form content.
“The Comedy Central app is a seamless extension of the brand that gives fans access to their favorite Comedy Central content instantly and anywhere,” said Michele Ganeless, President, Comedy Central. “It is homescreen-worthy and an incredible platform for viewing and sharing our programming.”
Fans who sign in via their cable or satellite provider will be able to dive into a treasure trove of additional content featuring close to 200 episodes of hit series, stand-up specials and shorts including advance episodes of the new season of “Inside Amy Schumer,” premiering exclusively in the app one week prior to their premiere on Comedy Central, as well as full seasons of “Tosh.0,” “Broad City,” “Workaholics,” “Kroll Show,” “Futurama,” “Review,” “Trip Tank,” “Chappelle’s Show,” Comedy Central stand-up series and specials and more.

The joke was taken from a bit on Wednesday night’s “The Colbert Report,” parodying Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder and his launch of the Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation in light of controversy over the team name. Taken out of context, however, many Twitter users saw the joke as racist, and launched a #CancelColbert campaign that quickly became a trending topic.
As the controversy started, the tweet was deleted, but Twitter users managed to screenshot the tweet before it disappeared.
