taping-report-the-late-show-2518968 Since the Late Show experience is still new, I will talk a little bit about the pre-show experience for TCR veterans who haven’t been yet or for Colbert newbies. (Welcome!)

I arrived for the taping at 12noon. There were only about 5 people in line and I figured maybe at least one of them would be standby, so I was pleased.

It was an unusually warm day which made me happy. (60F and partly sunny) I was wearing a sweater, had a fleece and was carrying a hoodie sweatshirt. Didn’t care that it was supposed to be warm. I went to a test taping in August and the theater was FREEZING!
