Steve McQueen, CBE, is a British film director, producer, screenwriter, and video artist. He began his career in film with several short films: Bear, Five Easy Pieces, Exodus, and Western Deep. In 2006, McQueen made the film For Queen and Country which commemorated the deaths of British soldiers during the Iraq War. His film about the 1981 Irish hunger strike titled Hunger won him the Camera d’Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival. The director’s most recent film is 12 Years a Slave, which is based on the autobiography of Solomon Northup, a free man who was captured and sold into slavery.

He served as Senator from Pennsylvania from 1995 to 2007, and ran for the Republican candidacy in the 2012 election, eventually coming in second to Mitt Romney. After serving as Senator, Santorum worked at a private lawyer, consultant, and news contributor. His latest business venture is EchoLight Studios, which focuses on creating family oriented films. His first production is The Christmas Candle, which is based on the Max Lucado novel of the same name. The movie takes place in the fictional town of Gladbury, where every twenty-five years an angel visits the candle-maker and performs a miracle for whoever lights the Christmas Candle. When new pastor David Richmond arrives, the Christmas Candle goes missing.

MIA (Mathangi Arulpragasam) is an English-Sri Lankan singer, songwriter, rapper, painter, and director. Her recording career began in 2002, and she released her debut album Arular in 2005. This was followed by Kala and Maya. Some of her most famous singles include “Sunshowers”, “Galang”, “Paper Planes”, “Boyz”, and “Bad Girls”. Her newest album is Matangi, which blends western and eastern musical influences, and MIA heavily references Hinduism in her lyrics. The song “Bad Girls” was released two years before the rest of the album, and has become MIA’s best selling single.

The movie is directed by Spike Lee and is a remake of a 2003 Korean film of the same name. It follows a man who hungers for revenge and wants to know why he was locked in solitary confinement for 20 years without an explanation.

He created the educational cartoon series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. After The Cosby Show, Cosby starred in the sitcom Cosby, which was based off of the British show One Foot in the Grave. The series reunited him with Cosby Show co-star Phylicia Rashad. Cosby earned his Doctor of Education degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst, and is an educational activist. He hosts a new Comedy Central special called Far From Finished.
